Flat Earth Fruit and Veggie Crisps

    Saturday, July 14th, 2007, 10:27 am

When I was at the grocery the other day
I saw some interesting "chips" in the produce section.
Sitting right there next to the fruits and vegetables.
I decided to pick it up and give it a try.
I did not have the time to label read intently.
It sounded worth a try and it was in the "healthy" section.

It was Flat Earth Apple Cinnamon Fruit Crisps.
I was concerned because it did look like a chip.
One of my downfalls is definately chips.
And I did indeed eat more than one serving at a time.
It was more a cross between a chip and cracker.
And while it was mostly healthy is did have added sugar.

This morning I googled and found the PepsiCo news release:
Flat Earth Fruit Crisps and Veggie Crisps.
For other people it may be a great snack option.
For the time being I need to stay away from it.
