Shhhh, do you hear that?
...... can you hear it? You hear nothing? Exactly!!! I am child-less right now and it is so very, very odd! My step-kiddos went home the last week in July after being here with us since May and my son went to spend time with his bio-dad in Wpg. Canada. I have no children in my house unless you count the furbabies who are doing their best to get all the attention.
This is definitely my definition of bizarre. I am a wahm wife and mom, been a mom for 8 1/2 years and this is the first time there are no children around. Can I just say it's a hard habit to break lol. I find that at 8:30 I want to shout up to the kids to put their pajamas on and brush their teeth or I lay in bed in the morning listening to hear if I am the first one up. DH and I went out yesterday I kept checking the time. For some reason I thought we had to be home for something, which we didn't. Wow!! Having adult time lol always thought about it but now that I have it what to do?
I think the timing of this is just perfect though. DH will be leaving for Korea for a year the first week of September. I'm not looking forward to it at all and neither is DH, so having this time to just be together before he leaves really is a blessing. (Even though the mom part of my brain has yet to shut off!) We are taking full advantage of it and having a great time.
Just very bizarre ;)
