    Toe Nails

I am shy about my toe nails because they are not in the best form.  So I always admire girls who have nice pedicure & get to wear open-toe sandals especially in the heat now.

For the past two years, my toe nails have a tendency to fall off.  This happens whenever I wear shoes that tend to give pressure to the toe area.  But nice shoes are always somewhat ill-fitting & uncomfortable & most girls just put up with it, so do I.  I've been told to consult a doctor about my condition, but I just never got motivated enough to get around it.

I hate it whenever I lost my nails because they would take about 3 months to grow out completely.  And the thumb toe & pinky toe takes even longer time to grow.  Fortunately the thumb toe is stronger than the pinky & so it does not fall out as often as the pinky.  Right now I'm in the process of healing six toe nails which were bruised from walking a lot in Europe earlier.

I also have a bad habit of picking on the hang nails & the cuticles.  I'm so good at it I even have a set of scissors & tweezer for the job.  I hate to see rough skin or uneven surface around my toes, so I would clip to smooth it out.  I must agree that sometimes all the picking makes my nails worse, but there is always a great satisfaction after I "even" it out.

All these time, I've been hiding my toes with pumps & sometimes even pointed pumps crashed the pinky toe & it falls off too.  The good thing from this is I'm saved from the poisonous nail polish, but I sacrifice the beauty of nicely pedicured toes.
